DAMAGE:

The persons hiring the facility will be held responsible for any damage  incurred during the function.  This includes any damage to fixtures or fittings and any cleaning of carpets.

The hirer is responsible for the clearing away of food on the night of the event, any dishes belonging to the caterer must be picked up the following day as these rooms are used for centre activities. Any dishes/equipment that are not picked up will be removed.  Primrose CA will not be responsible for their safe keeping.

The facilities of Primrose C.A are for the benefit of the members and therefore specialist areas of the building used solely by members are out of bounds at functions. Eg Soft Play, Squash Courts, Bowling Green.

During functions the lounge bar will also be used by members of the Association.

The main hall will be available from 2.45pm-4.00pm on a Saturday to set up ready for the evening any extra requirements must be agreed with a member of staff prior to the day of the event.

ALCOHOL

No alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the premise’s, this must be purchased from the bar.

Discos/Bouncy Castles the booking of this equipment is the responsibility and a copy of the operators public insurance to be produced to a member of staff 7 days prior to the function.

STRICTLY NO SMOKE/BUBBLE/FOAM/MACHINES

CHILDREN

The hirer is responsible for the supervision of children at a function at all times.  Should this not be adhered to the Hirer will be requested to terminate their function. Children are not allowed in the bar after 8pm.

Due to security arrangements last orders at the bar are 10.50pm Saturday, 3.00pm/10.30pm Sundays time called 10 minutes later. The building must be cleared by all users by 11.30pm Saturday 4pm or 11pm Sunday. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure all guests have left the building by these times.  The Association reserve the right to charge for additional staff costs if this is not adhered to.  Any applications for an extension to this time must be made in writing at the time of booking to the Centre Co-ordinator for approval by the Trustees.  Please ensure that arrangements for taxis are made well in advance.  It would be appreciated if guests would leave the building in a quiet orderly manner so as not to disturb our neighbours.

SMOKING

Primrose Community Association is a non-smoking building in line with legislation. This includes the area immediately outside the main entrance. However smoking is permitted in the side garden accessible via the coffee bar fire exit.

Primrose Community Association acknowledges its responsibilities for safeguarding and health safety of users and staff. Misuse of alcohol and use of drugs will not be tolerated.  Primrose Community Association is an active member of South Tyneside Pubwatch scheme and any issues may result in individuals being reported to the scheme.
